Liventus, Inc. was honored and proud to help be a sponsor of the second virtual “Venture into Cures” event, supporting the race to find a cure to Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) for two years in a row.
Founded in 2010 by a dedicated group of parents and Jill and Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam), EB Research Partnership (EBRP) is the largest global nonprofit dedicated to funding research to discover treatments and, ultimately, a cure for Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a group of devastating and life-threatening genetic skin disorders that affect children from birth.
This year, “Venture Into Cures” raised an incredible 2.25 million dollars in the single event, hosted by the Spiderman himself Tom Holland. Liventus was humbled to be one of the champion sponsors of the 2nd Annual digital show.
In past years, Liventus has sponsored the annual “Change for Charley” event, which has Daniel Levin, President, Liventus on the planning committee. Charley is a local Chicago-area child who was born with Epidermolysis Bullosa and this year was featured in the Venture Into Cures virtual event. While COVID-19 has prevented the annual in-person “Change for Charley” event, they have teamed up with Venture into Cures’ virtual event to continue the fight to cure EB.
