Founder and president Terry Lemerond developed the Terry Naturally® brand with the mission of improving America’s health, one person at a time. With a focus on inspiring lasting changes, the brand combines the best of science and nature to create premium supplements that are safe, powerful, and effective, delivering results that customers can trust.Minimal training was required for the Terry Naturally team due to their tech-savviness. Liventus provided an overview of the Page Builder tool and examples of how to build and edit pages. Ongoing support is provided as Liventus manages three different websites for Terry Naturally Vitamins: Terry Naturally Vitamins, Europharma USA, and Privacy Compliance.
The Challenge
The company faced significant challenges with their outdated website. The existing site was not only visually outdated but also lacked functionality, particularly in terms of content management. The old system did not allow the team to easily edit content, even for simple CMS pages. This limitation forced them to rely on developers for updates, resulting in delays and additional costs.
Our Solutions
Liventus undertook a comprehensive redesign of the Terry Naturally Vitamins website to address these issues. The primary goals were to modernize the look and feel of the site and to enhance its functionality, allowing the Terry Naturally team to manage content more effectively.

Mobile Design
The website was revamped with a contemporary design that aligned with the new branding of Terry Naturally Vitamins.
Magento Platform with Hyvä Theme:
The website continued to use Magento but incorporated the HYVA theme, known for its speed and efficiency. This theme, utilizing JavaScript and CSS, addressed many of the speed issues associated with the previous Magento theme (Luma).
Enhanced Content Management
The new site provided the Terry Naturally team with the ability to edit almost any part of their website without needing developer assistance. This was achieved using Magento’s Page Builder, a user-friendly tool that allows the creation and modification of CMS pages without requiring HTML knowledge.

Liventus strategically selected and implemented the HYVA theme, recognizing its robust features and superior performance capabilities. Our decision was driven by a comprehensive analysis of our website’s needs, ensuring that the theme’s advanced customization options and responsive design would enhance user experience and align perfectly with our brand’s vision.
The team focused primarily on front-end development to bring the new design to life, ensuring that it was both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
A WordPress blog that was on another one of their sites was also incorporated into this new blog extension. These articles were kept separate, but all managed in the same place making it easy to use. A different template was added to these blogs which allows for filtering by different health conditions.
The blog was updated and integrated into the site in three different places, ensuring that relevant articles appeared based on the page being viewed. The previous blog extension was outdated and offered limited functionality. A new extension was added to use a Hyva compatible blog which allowed for widgets to be placed in content editable areas site to show recent, featured, or category-based blogs throughout the site. This also allowed for products discussed within the articles to be added directly to the page, and to link related blogs a customer may be interested in.
Liventus worked closely with the Digital Marketing and Web Manager, their designer, and a project manager from Terry Naturally Vitamins. From the Liventus side, the team included Brandon Bush (Project Manager), a Senior Lead Developer, and three developers.

Time and Cost Savings
The ability to edit content without developer assistance has saved substantial time and money. Updates that previously required developer intervention can now be made instantly by the in-house team.
Improved Website Speed
After launching Hyva the website’s homepage on mobile went from 4.2 seconds to 1.5 seconds to load the homepage (LCP), saving almost 3 seconds! We were able to reduce Layout Shift (CLS) as the page loads from a 0.8 to a 0.04 on mobile, easily passing Google’s Core Web Vitals.
Regulatory Compliance
Custom product attributes and careful placement of marketing content ensure compliance with legal requirements, such as avoiding unverified health claims.
Lessons Learned and Future Plans
One of the biggest challenges during the implementation was transferring blog articles from an off-site WordPress blog to the new site without direct access to the WordPress database. This required frequent updates and coordination but was ultimately successful by creating a script that pulled the articles to the new website.
Future plans include monitoring the website’s performance and making continuous improvements. Liventus will also provide ongoing support and manage additional projects as needed.
