The ELFA 2022 Equipment Management Conference and Exhibition returned in-person on February 13-15 at the Westin La Paloma Resort in Tuscan, Arizona.
The event centered around networking opportunities, educational content, and the attendees’ professional development.
There was a great lineup of industry-specific sector sessions that offered an overview and outlook of market conditions for various equipment segments, including IT/Computers and custom software development in the fintech industry. Dan Levin, President of Liventus inc., was a part of one such panel discussion on ‘Cybersecurity and Compliance.’ Greg Meyer, CPA | CFO & CIO at Asset Compliant Solution, co-paneled the sessions. The moderators for this concurrent session were Andrew Pace, COO at Asset Compliant Solutions; Anthony Gordon, Manager of Asset Management at Farm Credit Leasing; and Mike Smith, President & CEO at RTR Services Inc.
The session included –
- The importance of cybersecurity is to protect all categories of data from theft and damage. The data includes sensitive data, personally identifiable information (PII), protected health information (PHI), personal information, intellectual property, data, and governmental and industry information systems.
- How being aware and educating people can make a big difference to organisation cybersecurity.
- Sharing knowledge and taking a little time to put measures in place can guard against threats and attacks.
