Liventus was proud to sponsor and support “Change For Charley”, an annual event that raises money to find a cure for Epidermolysis bullosa.
Liventus President Daniel Levin helped start the event in 2017 with the Kauf family and in just the second year, Change For Charley raised an amazing $600,000, which was almost double the amount raised in the first event in 2017 of $325,000. The Kauf family, C4C board, and all the volunteers clearly outdid themselves in appealing to the over 400 people who attended. Most importantly, 100% of all proceeds given to Change for Charley’s research go to finding a cure EB.
As one of the founding organizers of the Change for Charley event Daniel Levin helped kick start and continues to promote this admirable cause. Change For Charley is an effort not only to raise awareness, but also to raise needed resources to help find a cure. The event partners with EB Research Partnership (501 (c)(3)) and is in honor of Charley Kauf, a beautiful 6 year old girl from Highland Park (IL) who suffers from EB.
